Chemometrics, Metrology and Qualimetrics in the framework of food analytical chemistry
CMQ-FOOD research line within the FQM232 research group of the Department of Analytical Chemistry of the Faculty of Science, University of Granada.
PI: A.M. Jiménez Carvelo (Ramón y Cajal Fellow)
The CMQ-Food research line is focused on the following actions: (i) ensuring food quality developing 'green' analytical methods, (ii) application of alternative machine learning methods to extract the relevant information of the instrumental fingerprints of food which allow characterise them unequivocally, and (iii) developing a methodology for 'agnostizing' conventional 1D spectroscopic and chromatographic signals, expanding them to higher-dimensionality ones. The objectives set in all these research actions will conduct multidisciplinary studies and develop innovative tools based on the combination of different analytical platforms and suitable data mining methods.
